Century 21 Real Estate, one of the world’s largest residential real estate sales firms, has announced its expansion with a master franchise agreement to open in Albania.
The Dudaj Group, owned by Besnick and Adriatik Dudaj, will become the master franchisee of the Century 21 System in Albania.
Century 21 Albania plans to be operational this year in the cities of Tirana and Durres.
”We are excited to welcome our colleagues in Albania to the network as international growth continues to be a key initiative for the Century 21 System,” said Tom Kunz, president and chief executive of Century 21.
“We look forward to seeing The Dudaj Group grow and prosper as professional champions for home buyers and sellers in Albania.”
The expansion of the franchise follows the opening of an office in Tirana by Colliers International in May, the biggest international property consultancy in Southeast Europe.
The Albanian real estate market is seen by foreign investors as being on the cusp of a building boom as the country slowly emerges from a difficult transitional period and its European Union prospects improve.
In April, Albania together with Croatia was invited to join NATO at the Bucharest summit, a further sign, experts believe of growing stability.
The Dudaj Group, formed in 1993, was one of the first private companies to emerge in Albania after the collapse of the communist system.
“Bringing the Century 21 brand to our country is an exciting accomplishment for myself and our team,” said Besnick Dudaj, president and chief executive of Century 21 Albania.
“We are honoured to have access to all the quality resources that Century 21 offers to better help Albanian customers achieve the dream of owning a home.”
